Other than the myriad of sound effects albums out there, what kind of music sets the mood for Halloween for you? I love a lot of the Goth stuff, like Bauhaus. I also love Type O Negative. There are also the movie soundtracks to Halloween and the Exorcist, which are decidedly creepy. My favorite mood music is just about anything by a band called Midnight Syndicate. With CDs like Realm of Shadows, Born of the Night, Gates of Delirium, and Vampyre : Symphonies from the Crypt, these guys just know how to do creepy music. This is the perfect soundtrack for any Halloween party. Any others you folks can think of?

For those with a strong stomach and an immunity to obscene language and lyrics, Necro has some great tunes to set the mood for halloween... off the top of my head I can think of Dead Body Disposal and Evil Sh*t (according to Wikipedia the beat in Evil Sh*t is taken from the 1976 horror movie Blood Sucking Freaks).
